SINOPSIS:

Serie de TV (1994-2009). 15 temporadas. Emitida por la NBC desde 1994, "E.R." (Urgencias) es una de las series más prestigiosas de la historia de la televisión, galardonada con más de 20 Premios Emmys, entre otros premios, producida por Steven Spielberg (Amblin televisión) en asociación con la Warner Bros. Televisión, bajo la idea original del famoso guionista y novelista Michael Crichton (Jurassic Park), y que muestra la vida cotidiana del equipo del Servicio de Urgencias del County General Hospital de Chicago. Cada capítulo, de una hora de duración, ha sido dirigido desde la primera temporada por diferentes realizadores aunque la mayoría de las entregas hayan sido dirigidas por Richard Thorpe, Christopher Chulack, Laura Innes, Jonathan Kaplan y con guiones de Jack Orman, Joe Sachs y R. Scott Gemmil, entre otros. E.R. es una idea original del célebre novelista y guionista Michael Crichton, autor de "Parque Jurásico". Actualmente, y tras haber pasado grandes actores -hoy estrellas- como George Clooney, Anthony Edwards o Julianna Margulies, la serie está protagonizada en los personajes principales por Noah Wyle como el Dr. John Carter; Laura Innes da vida a la Dra. Kerry Weaver, jefa de Urgencias; Mekhi Phifer, al Dr. Gregory Pratt; Alex Kingston a la Dra. Elisabeth Corday, Jefa de Cirugía del County General; Gora Visnjic al Dr. Luka Kovac; Sherry Stringfield a la Dra. Sussan Lewis; Maura Tierney a la enfermera Abby Lockhart; Ming-Na a la Dra. Chen; Sharif Atkins al Dr. Michael Gallart y Paul McCrane, al Dr. Romano, Jefe de Personal del County General. URGENCIAS (ER), que comenzó a emitirse en Estados Unidos en septiembre del año 1994, ha evolucionado a lo largo de muchas temporadas hasta convertirse en un mosaico de personajes que, aunque tienen sus propias tramas personales, siempre están unidos por un vínculo en común: el hospital County General.
